How will the ADT implement extended (10+ days) authentic project-based learning experiences that engage industry professionals and showcase original, relevant outcomes addressing real-world challenges?
Strategic Actions:
1. Conduct a needs assessment to identify real-world challenges relevant to career/community contexts and student interests.
2. Develop a career-connected project-based learning plan to connect career content with other subjects.
3. Develop and Implement NAF Expeditions or similar authentic project learning experiences integrating industry professionals into the project design and implementation process.
4. Establish partnerships with local industry professionals or organizations to collaborate on project design, mentor students, and provide feedback on project outcomes.
5. Identify available professional development opportunities for educators to deepen project-based learning knowledge.
