How will the ADT implement extended (10+ days) authentic project-based learning experiences that engage industry professionals and showcase original, relevant outcomes addressing real-world challenges?

Strategic Actions:

  • 1. Conduct a needs assessment to identify real-world challenges relevant to career/community contexts and student interests.

  • 2. Develop a career-connected project-based learning plan to connect career content with other subjects.

  • 3. Develop and Implement NAF Expeditions or similar authentic project learning experiences integrating industry professionals into the project design and implementation process.

  • 4. Establish partnerships with local industry professionals or organizations to collaborate on project design, mentor students, and provide feedback on project outcomes.

  • 5. Identify available professional development opportunities for educators to deepen project-based learning knowledge.
